Announcement of participant pairs in Creativity Challenge of VFCD 2022

The launch event of Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2022 took place this morning in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. At the event, the list of five pairs selected to the next rounds of the Creativity Challenge was announced.

The 05 pairs to join CREATIVITY CHALLENGE are:

Artist Trần Thảo Miên and designer Linh Trịnh and their project to develop Thật Hư, a series of prototype artworks that are playful against societal conventions about the feather duster and the role of women in their homes.
Officine Gặp – an interdisciplinary creative hub on architecture, urban planning and design collaborated with sound artist Marco Yanes from Hanoi Underground Movement (HUM). They want to create an immersive sound exhibition and a zine using the audio samples they collected from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Nguyễn Hà, an architect, and Trần Thảo Miên, a textile artist, desire to create new works of applied art inspired from the preservation of the lanterns from the early 20th century’s Mid Autumn Festival.
Bùi Bảo Trâm and Văn Ngọc Hồng Phước, who wish to form the Insomaniaction Collective, which would be an interdisciplinary creative hub where many cultures could coexist and generate new ideas.
The fresh collaboration among game producer Phạm Đăng Duy Anh, cultural entreupreuner Nguyễn Huyền Châu and the craft designer Nguyễn Ngọc Quỳnh Giao. Their project idea is to be consulted with members of the Creative Committee.
